"What would you do if you were 23 and your doctor told you that you had cancer? Alicia Parlette, a Chronicle copy editor, tells her story in a seven-part series." The series is actually now 10 parts and still counting. It is a story of cancer, hope, despair, faith, news (both good and bad) and relationships.
There are only two sites that I regularly visit to find out what has happened lately - this is one of them. (The other one is PostSecret - a very well known site.)
Anyway, this is a powerful series of articles, and not just based on real life. |
